Sorry your mom blew up, Ricky . . .
Hey, I spoke with Smemily last night, and 'twas certainly a blast, if anyone wants her contact info, let me know and I can e-mail it to ya (I'd put it up on here, but I don't want any unwanted people using the calling card info!)
Anyways, this weekend was a lot of fun, Rach invited me to go to church with her, So I planned on that, then she let me know that she'd be singing in the choir, which was fun, even though I wanted to sit by her, then her friend suggested, "well, come sing with the choir!" So I did, and it was really neat. We sang some renditions of hymns and then one song I've never heard of before (I thought of Tina, Dad . . . ) and then we sang "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" with a really nice piano accompaniment. The Spirit was really strong, (and no, I didn't cry, just got a little misty) I'm so glad that we have the Gospel and a true knowledge of the Savior. It was a really good Easter.
Well, right now I'm in the 3D animation lab, and it's getting crazy, finals are going to be nutty-nuts, but everything's going to be fine, I just gotta keep my head on straight and all shall be well! (feelings of jealousy towards Jamie being done with school rising slightly . . .) Well, that's about it from the Wasatch Front, I'll put up some pics for all y'all . . .

Grandma stories
Jamie and I took Grandma dinner last Friday and watched 16 blocks. Afterwards we talked for a long time... She's told us some cute stories in the last few weeks, and thought you kiddies might enjoy some of them... Here's how I remember them:
Grandma was telling Jamie and I about their wedding. They were married by Grandpa’s brother in the Martinez(?) chapel. Afterwards, they drove up to
I took a painting from Grandma’s house that was just staying on the wall. I was confused because it was Grandpa’s and she wasn't taking it. I asked about it, and she let me take it! It is a darker painting of a house that Grandpa painted in 1942. Grandma said that he had told her that he painted it during his mission. It was painted at night, probably after it had snowed. It was somewhere in
Cool story: Dyke was sitting with Grandma. They were probably at a restaurant or something. They saw Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra sitting at the bar. Dyke told Grandma to go get their autograph and tell them that it was for her kids. Grandma was really cute, she started telling us how “Dean Martin had that look… he was so charming… he just made you melt.” She said, “they knew it wasn’t for my kids.” That card is somewhere around, maybe signed in pencil. Chuck’s probably hoarding it.
When they were first marrried, Grandma and Grandpa lived in a tiny one room apartment with a kitchenette built into the closet. They didn’t even have their own bathroom, it was shared between the tenants on the floor. The building was close to SJSU where Grandpa was going to school.
Grandma has this really cute painting of the streets of
Grandpa made Grandma’s coffee table. I think she said that he made it out of a door.
Grandma suggested two things. First, that we mark where things come from with a permanent marker on the back. Second, that we keep track of repairs and things on the actual appliance. (For example, apparently she found a discreet place to write down refrigerator repairs in the refrigerator.)

PERTH
The night shots are across the river from downtown Perth with some friends from Uni after the Rugby game, the other two shots are from the FREO prison... in front of some of the prisoners artwork in their courtyard, and where they hang people. the guide told us about one man who was supposed to be hung there.. but after three attempts with the rope breaking each time, they let the man go as an act of God... then he drowned a year later in the ocean.
I LOVE RUGBY

The first pic is a group of us during TFY training.. the second is Dutch Babies i made for the reedys-- similar to hootinannies and very delicious. Aimee's grandpa broke his leg, so she stole his crutches and had everyone sign her "invisible" cast. Strange yet creative. Benny and I have done this "racing car puzzle" a million times together since i have been here. Carrie can do it in like three minutes, so my goal is to beat her time by when i leave.

Just take Granny Smith apples, chop them up into little pieces, and then mix them with a can of whole cranberry sauce... Use this as a sauce and put it over chicken, bake the stuff, and that's all! Easy and delicious...
If i have time later, I've found easy recipes for Chicken Parmaseana, a Chicken Divan, twice baked potatoes, potato skins... Oooh, and chicken enchiladas...
